THERAPY FOR YOUNG ADULTS & LIFE TRANSITIONS IN SCHERTZ

Reclaim this phase of your life.

Is navigating this new chapter harder than you expected?

Maybe you've reached a breaking point with your job stress, or perhaps you have realized I don't know how to make friends now that I'm an adult.

Perhaps you are struggling to navigate going from a student life to a career life. These changes and many more can leave you feeling lonely, burned out, not able to achieve quality sleep.

You might be thinking “why is this so hard for me now, why do I feel on edge, why do I feel stuck?”

Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:

  • Feeling anxious or unfulfilled at work

  • Lonely in the your new city

  • Grieving the end of a friendship or relationship

how i can help

Life transition therapy can give young adults direction in new phases.

I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to young adults struggling with life transitions comes from a place of belief and resilience: knowing that you haven’t been in the phase before but you have navigated hard times in the past, you have the ability to overcome this tough time with the right guidance and skills.

LIFE TRANSITION THERAPY CAN HELP WITH 3 THINGS:

Learn what is the root cause of why you are feeling anxious, lonely, stressed or burntout.

Understand how you can set boundaries with yourself and others to gain control of your life.

Resolve stressors so you can move forward with confidence and peace.

I want you to know:

Change is possible.

Let’s work together to help you achieve the change you want to see in yourself.

Common questions about life transition therapy

  • First we start to look at how this transition is impacting your mental health, work and relationships. Then together we will look more closely at how your thoughts and behaviors may be causing distress. You can expect to learn more about how your mind functions, how behavior changes and specialized skills can help you ease into this phase.

  • Each person’s time in therapy is different. This depends on your goals, motivation to create change outside of sessions etc. There are no set number of counseling sessions.

  • Request a time to have a 15 min free phone consultation. From there we will see if we are a good fit and then get you scheduled for your first appointment.
